The end of the year brings some long awaited good news: our funding application has been accepted! With the holidays coming up next week this has been the last proper work week in December. Martin has managed to finish the analytics project just before he went on vacation and Michi tried get as many issues as possible off our backlog, affectionately called The List.

After releasing the Expanse update shortly before the holidays, the team is now focussing its resources on getting some related Corporation features out the door next.

The Expanse update finally has a release day, and it's less than a week away: Thursday, December 12th! Read what we've been up to this week to get it ready.

This week, Michi has finished designing the rules around the governor system. We are also now officially looking for a PR & Community Manager to succeed Julian in 2020!

This week, Julian has sadly announced that he will be leaving the company within the next few months. But the show must go on: Martin has been checking off administrative tasks left and right and integrated some basic analytics. Michi meanwhile has been chipping away at the upcoming governor feature and its exact rules.

This week we took a break from the development of the Expanse Release and worked on a maintenance release instead. Besides some long awaited bugfixes we changed how resource extractors work and simplified the user interface for the foreign exchange.
