Hey everyone, sorry for the late devlog. Currently, the house modernization project is in full swing, and since I’m doing parts of it myself, I have to take a few days off here and there.

In other news, Maciej Rebisz, our concept artist, has added a few of his concept artworks to astrography.com. On astrography.com you can order artworks as high quality fine art prints and on metal panels similar to Displate. You can find all his artworks over here.

Development wise, I spent a bit more time refining the gateway linking process. The motion component now shows the distance between the two gateway systems in parsecs. Additionally, the maximum linking range of each gateway is shown and whether that's enough to establish a link. In general, a link can only be formed if both gateways are in range of each other.

I also updated the 'Links' section of the gateway information command GTW. The UI now reflects the fact that every gateway can have at most one outgoing link and multiple incoming links. It also shows the status of the link. Links have the format <gateway id> @ <gateway address>. Eventually, we want to allow giving gateways names, so the gateway id might be replaced with the name if present.

Here is a gateway with no outgoing link:

.. and here is one with an established link to another gateway:

GTW command for an linked gateway

When used without any parameters, the GTW shows a list of all gateways. This list now features the outgoing link of the gateway (if present) as well as the gateway's operator.
