This week the team met at the simulogics HQ and discussed current and future developments.

It has been a while since we all met at simulogics HQ. Being a completely distributed team, these meetings are a welcomed change to our regular video calls. The topics varied from technical questions to game design.
One outcome was, for example, that we will need to add a command for the politics release that will have an overview of a player's political activities. Currently, a player can only run for governor on a single planet and players usually know where they ran. With the politics update we will get rid of that limitation and allow players to run for office on any planet with an administration center. The new command will have a list of all locations where a player is currently running for office as well as a list of governments where they are currently part of. We might also include the list of former offices similar to the one that is currently available via the USR
command.
We also talked a lot about what will come after the politics update. Fabian presented a game design concept about a potential end-game feature that will strengthen the meaning of the factions and make use of the faction reputation that players can currently earn via faction contracts. I cannot go into more detail at this time though :)
Oh, and we treated ourselves with a dinner downtown and watched the second part of Dune in the movie theater. Highly recommended, it is a fantastic movie.
As always: we'd love to hear what you think: join us on Discord or the forums!
Happy trading!
