With everyone engaged with other projects, vacations, etc., it's up to Nick to hold down the fort.
Nick
First of all, I wanted to give a shout-out to molp, who has just welcomed a new daughter into the world. Congratulations! The simulogics families keep on growing and we are happy to hear that everyone is safe and healthy.
Last week I was able to tie up a few things that I had been working on like the new pricing table. The content is all there and now we just have to implement it and make it look nice and legible. It was a bit tricky trying to explain all the different licenses in a way that is easy and not intimidating for new players. I also edited the Steam description so that Steam users can read about the pricing model more in depth before making a decision to play or not; hopefully it will come at less of a surprise when they see that some features require a PRO license. I also removed the "in-app purchases" tag since some players reported that it caused some confusion that we might be offering microtransactions or something similar.
I also have some more influencers in the pipeline, so keep your eyes peeled for more information about a new video soon. I will also be sending out a survey to players that abandoned the game to get some feedback, because I have not sent out this kind of survey since we launched on Steam. I think it would be interesting to see what those players have to say about their expectations not being met or whatever reasons they have for not continuing to play. We can use the feedback to both enhance the game and also to optimize our Steam page so people know what they are getting into before playing the game for an hour and then leaving a negative review.
I will also start another "Name THAT Planet" community event soon, so if you have a planet that you really want to name then now will be the time to act!
As always: we'd love to hear what you think: join us on Discord or the forums!
Happy trading!
