The new update is right around the corner! We decided to release it on Thursday, the 10th and as usual you can see what the update entails in the release notes topic in the forums. Atlas, as we call this update, is also available on our test server as a preview for our supporters with the test server access perk!

This week I finished implementing and testing the Government Programs I wrote about last week. Two aspects were missing: the effect on the population and the handling of fees. The Government Program that has been active while a new population report was created does show up on the population report, so it is easier to see what is going on. A Government Program's fee will be deducted from the respective governor's account. The fee will have the same currency as other fees on that planet.

Now that we are close to the release day I started working on the usual tasks necessary to get a release out of the door.

I worked on a few smaller dev tasks regarding the upcoming release of Atlas last week, but here are two of the more significant things: Each workforce tier now has their own production fee cap. So governors will be able to, e.g. tax engineer production orders much higher than settler orders (or not if "tax the rich" isn't how they want their planet to roll, the minimum fee is still the same for all tiers). Secondly, you can now not just delete but also copy screens in the screen dropdown menu at the top. This will come in handy if you, e.g. want to duplicate a certain layout for a new base, or create several screens with similar information where you only want the contents of your tiles to differ but not their position and size.

On Friday we had a new influencer video come out. You can check it out here; it's in Polish so I hope you've been practicing :) We also have a few more in the pipeline, so stay tuned for more videos.

I also did a lot of work for the Atlas release coming out including finalizing the content and preparing newsletters and press info. I was also very pleased to see that Giant Bomb decided to finally publish the content that I submitted 4 weeks ago for the Prosperous Universe page. I will be adding more content later, and hopefully they will approve it faster...

As always: we'd love to hear what you think: join us on Discord or the forums!

Happy trading!
